Asbell does it again

Miler Country Club had its 2008 Men's Club Championship April 19-20.

For the third consecutive year, Chris Asbell was the overall winner. Asbell finished with a two-day round of 143 to keep possession of the title. Runner up was Jim Mutispaugh with a 151. Third place went to Summerville High School golfer Michael Goodwin, who finished at 153. The President’s Cup winner (low net) went to Leonard Potvin.

A benefit tournament sponsored by The Arch will be held today, starting at 1 p.m.

A benefit tournament sponsored by the Knights of Columbus is scheduled for May 17.

The annual Chick Miler Invitational is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25.
