Berkeley took full advantage of its home-course advantage Sept. 8, finishing with 45 points to win the ninth match of the Charleston Area Men’s Interclub Golf Association season.
Wescott continued its good play with 39, followed by Dunes West in third with 35. Trailing were Charleston Municipal (33), Pine Forest (32), Shadowmoss (30), Coosaw Creek (29), Crowfield and Legend Oaks (27), Rivertowne (26), Miler (24), Patriots Point (15) and Stono Ferry (2).
Individual honors went to George Shread of Berkeley who finished with a plus 14, Ron Heyward of Berkeley (+13) and Stan Petrohovich of Wescott and Jim Carroll of Dunes West, who tied at plus12.

Wescott leads the point standings with 92.5 points. Trailing are Shadowmoss (84), Pine Forest (83.5), Coosaw Creek (82), Legend Oaks (78.5), Dunes West (73.5), Stono Ferry (71), Miler (70), Rivertowne (70), Berkeley (64.5), Charleston Municipal (61.5), Crowfield (57) and Patriots Point (38.5).
The next match will be at Wescott Oct. 6th at 10 a.m.
