Legend Oaks won its second consecutive Charleston Men’s Interclub match June 1. Legend Oaks, the home team, scored 14 points to win the sixth match of the year. Pine Forest came in second with 12 points and was followed by Crowfield (7), Coosaw Creek and Rivertowne (tied at 4), Charleston Municipal (2), Stono Ferry (1), Wescott (-4), Shadowmoss (-6), Miler (-9), Dunes West (-16), Patriots Point (-17) and Berkeley (-34). Individual honors went to Mike Stowell of Stono Ferry, who came in at plus 9. Jason Lowery and Terry Newman, both of Crowfield, tied for second at plus 7. Full results can be found on chsinterclub.org. Legend Oaks leads the point standings with 66 points. The race for second place is heated, with three teams running neck-and-neck. Crowfield is the current runner-up with 55 points, but Pine Forest (54) and Stono Ferry (53) are just behind. Trailing are Shadowmoss (46.5), Charleston Municipal (43.5), Miler (40), Rivertowne (38), Coosaw Creek (36), Patriots Point (34), Wescott (32), Berkeley (29.5) and Dunes West (29.5). The next match will take place at 9 a.m. at Crowfield on July 6.
