Wave golf
The Summerville High School varsity golf team will host a benefit golf tournament at 12:30 p.m. March 20 at Miler Country Club. The funds generated from this annual event will go to covering the expenses of the team’s equipment, tournament entry costs and travel. FCA event
The Lowcountry Fellowship of Christian Athletes Spring Fundraising Banquet is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 1 at the Omar Shrine Auditorium, Patriots Point, Mt. Pleasant. The keynote speaker will be Mark Price, four-time NBA All-star, with guest College of Charleston basketball coach Bobby Cremins. Golf Card
Orders can now be placed for the 2010 Golf Privilege Card. The program offers cardholders discounts of up to 60 percent at more than 3,000 participating courses nationwide. Now, through the Golf Privilege website, golfers can also track the courses they have played, view the discounts available at each course and schedule tee times all from the convenience of their own homes.
