Ashley Ridge QB Cameron Cox threw three TD passes and rushed for another in the first half as the Swamp Foxes rolled to a 54–7 win over Colleton County.
Cox hit Seamus McKinney for a 76-yard TD on the Foxes second play from scrimmage Oct. 8 and scored on an 8-yard run to give the Foxes a 14-0 first-quarter lead. In the second quarter, he connected with Nick Webb on a 23-yard TD pass and again with McKinney for 6-yard scoring pass. The Foxes added a safety on a high Cougar punt snap and a 23-yard field goal from Dalton Robinson for a 31-0 lead at the half.
“The kids came out and were crisp on offense,” Ashley Ridge coach Kenny Walker said. “The offensive coaches have done a great job all year long and tonight the kids executed their game plan so the credit goes to those coaches and those kids.”
