A limited number of advanced tickets for the Oct. 23 football game between Summerville and Berkeley high schools are available.
Tickets will be available for $6 at the SHS Student Information Office from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Oct. 21-22. The office is located directly across from the school's main office at the front entrance to the school.
Summerville High School officials anticipate long lines at the gate for the game, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Moncks Corner. They recommend purchasing an advanced ticket to avoid lines at the stadium ticket booth or arriving at the ticket booth early due to the large crowd that is expected.
Only 500 advance tickets were purchased by the school and they will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Berkeley enters the game with an 8-0 record and ranked as the No. 4 team in the state in one AAAA poll. Summerville has a 7-1 record and is ranked sixth.
For more information on the game, see the Oct. 23 issue of The Summerville Journal Scene or visit www.journalscene.com Thursday evening.
