Softball playoffs

The Fort opened the 4-A playoffs last week with a 5-0 win over Ridgeview and then lost 9-0 to South Florence in the second round. On Monday, the Patriots game with Wando, which fell 12-3 to South Florence, was postponed due to heavy rain. Summerville opened the playoffs with a 19-0 win over Dutch Fork, but has had its second-round game with Stratford postponed twice due to rain. On Monday, the game was called in the bottom of the fourth inning with no score.
