A Philly Pretzel Factory opened Saturday in the Windmill Station at Carnes Crossroads located at 2007 Second Ave., Suite A.
The franchise out of Pennsylvania offers items including spicy pretzel sausages, cinnamon pretzel twists, giant pretzels, cheesesteak and party trays.
A Tiki Taco is coming soon to 1525 Old Trolly Road Suite M in Summerville. Owner Shawn Healy said he hopes to be open the casual dining restaurant by mid November. He’ll have tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas and some American foods as well; hamburgers, hot dogs and more.
Over 15 downtown businesses are participating in a Moonlight Madness & Halloween Zombie Show between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Oct.26. Millie Lewis Models & Talent and Flowertown Theater are organizing the event for Flowertown Player Zombies to take over the town. People are invited to wear costumes as they shop downtown and to expect a few surprises.
