The weather was simply beautiful as thousands of people shopped, ate, played, danced and roamed their way through the Goose Creek Fall Festival on Saturday heldbehind the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center.

A group called Good Clean Fun blew bubbles, juggled bowling pins and played music while encouraging kids and adults to let loose and dance.

Youth dance teams performed while vendors sold handmade arts, crafts, soaps, lotions and household accessories. Food included oysters, all things fried-from chicken to fried oreos- cake pops, delicate macaroons and plenty of sweet tea.

The Goose Creek Police Department had a swat vehicle on display for attendees to climb inside and learn about the vehicles capabilities.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit Helping Hands of Goose Creek, people also donated canned goods to the organization at a drop off tent.
