Nexton's new destination shopping center brings 22 new restaurants and shops to Summerville

Nexton Square will feature 22 new shops and restaurants.

Nexton Square is bringing 22 new restaurants and shops to Summerville next summer.

The destination shopping center within Nexton, a master planned community in Summerville, announced a list of tenants in a news release on Wednesday:

• Southern First Bank

• Vicious Biscuit

• Taco Boy

• Bad Daddy’s Burgers

• DB’s Cheesesteaks

• Diamond Nails

• Wok N Roll

• Chatime Ice Cream

• Wild Birds Unlimited

• Poogan’s Southern Kitchen

• Halls Chophouse

• Sportsbook

• Trident Dentistry

• Bar Louie

The square is under development by RealtyLink Commercial and is adjacent to the recently opened Residence Inn and Courtyard Marriott as well as The Parks Apartments and Class-A office buildings. According to the news release, it’s a quick walk or bike ride from the communities three residential Villages, Brighton Park, Del Webb and North Creek.

McMillan Padzan Smith Architects designed the emerging shopping center with civil engineering and landscape architecture, Seamon + Whiteside. Landmark Construction is overseeing site work and General Contractor, Ordner Construction is handling vertical construction. The first buildings will be delivered to tenants for up-fit in late 2019.
