Irene Rose Smith of Summerville and Zachary Joseph Yereb of McAllen, Texas, were married on May 19, 2018 at St. Paul's Church in Summerville with a reception at Doar Hall.
The bride’s father gave her away. Rev. John Scott officiated.
The bride is the daughter of J. Foster and Patricia Smith of Summerville. She is the granddaughter of the late C. Eugene and Irene McCarthy of Rockville Centre, New York and of the late P. Frank and Annabel Smith of Summervillle.
The groom is the son of Tracie Yereb of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, and of Steven and his wife Carol Yereb of Macdonald, Pennsylvania. He is the grandson of the late Jim Black of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and of Albert and the late Nancy Yereb of Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
Lydia Annabel Rabon was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christal DeBoer, Jessica Smith, Erin Corder, Olivia Sapp, Ashley Dean, Ashley Yereb and Taylor Irby. Audrey DeBoer was a junior bridesmaid.
Jimmy Harris was the best man. Dustin Alexander, Pete Bendo, Jeremy Edge and Zach Puperi were groomsmen.
Jennings Smith, brother of the bride, and George Rabon, brother-in-law of the bride, were ushers.
The bride is a graduate of Charleston Southern University and owns Once Upon a Party.
The groom is a graduate of The Citadel and is employed by the South Carolina Army National Guard.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. They will make their home in Summerville.
