South Carolinians can now rest easy knowing their pillows and other valuables are safe, as the Berkeley County Sheriff’s office announced on June 27 its arrest of four out of five suspects of the so-called “Pillowcase Bandits,” who committed dozens of burglaries over the past four months.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office believes they know who is responsible for a recent rash of car break-ins, now deputies want help from the public to track them down. Investigators have released photos of the two in an effort to get some information and make an arrest.

Intoxicated person

Police in Summerville said a victim hid and armed herself with a gun as a police lieutenant made entry into the home. Law enforcement arrested a police lieutenant with the Summerville Police Department.

The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office has announced that the Brantley Thomas hearing regarding his state charges has been slightly delayed, and will now occur on March 25.
