The bridegroom is the son of Timothy and Tina Gaines. He is the grandson of Dudley and Marcia Lawson of Union, South Carolina, and of Charles JD and the late Margaret McAbbee Gaines of Union.
The bride is 2006 graduate of Summerville High and 2010 graduate of Clemson University. She is employed by Amalie in North Charleston.
