Local kids began lining up at 9 a.m. for a chance to sit on Santa's lap and communicate their Christmas wishes at the Summerville Journal Scene's "Breakfast with Santa" event on the morning of Dec. 3 at the Rollins Edwards Community Center. Youngsters made the most of their visit by partaking in arts and crafts activities and an assortment of games on hand. Parents at the affair enjoyed generous servings of coffee and holiday edibles.
