On behalf of Dorchester Paws, I am writing to express our profound gratitude for Rep. Nancy Mace’s invaluable support and advocacy in securing grant funding for Dorchester Paws. We have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand her steadfast dedication to our furry friends.
Rep. Mace was instrumental in helping our animal shelter secure $30,000 in grant funding from PetSmart Charities. We were able to utilize the grant funding to hire additional staff members, expanding our capacity for care and enhancing our ability to serve our community.
Rep. Mace’s consistent support for animal welfare initiatives, coupled with her proactive efforts to combat animal cruelty, underscores her unwavering commitment to ensuring the welfare of animals in our community. She recently introduced legislation that would make it illegal for the federal government to fund animal testing on cats and dogs (PAAW Act of 2024).
Everyone at Dorchester Paws extends their deepest gratitude to Rep. Mace for her tireless advocacy and unwavering support for animal welfare. She is truly a champion for our furry friends.
