Lowcountry athletes helped an all-star baseball team claim the 2019 North-South Championship last week.
The South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association hosted its annual Select All-Star Games and North-South All-Star Games in Lexington May 21-22. The all-star series brings together the top senior baseball players from all S.C. With their help, the team defeated the North 5A/2A/A All-star Team by a 2-1 score to advance to the North-South championship game.
The 5A/2A/A South All-stars then defeated the South 4A/3A All-stars 3-2 the next day to claim this year’s North-South Championship.
